Nokia E71
The Nokia E71 mightn’t appear the athletic sort, but it recently earned some extreme endurance kudos courtesy of climbing Mount Everest alongside world-renownedclimber Marc Batard, with NathalieLamoureux (pictured) video blogging and reporting on the climb using Nokia’s extreme Eseries smartphone.
Marc Batard was the guy who climbed Everest back in 1990 without an oxygen bottle in a record 22 hours and 29 minutes. Late last week he began another oxygen-less ascent with Nathalie reporting on their progress and providing daily updates via SMS, picture messages and video live blogs for the site NumeriMatch.com. Her full report is an inspiring digital diary and proof that the Nokia E71 can hack it in one of the harshest environments on the planet.
